Rifki Febriadi, graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia majoring in Civil Law in 2002. Rifki can communicate in Indonesian and English.
Rifki is a member of Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (PERADI) (Indonesian BAR Association) and a member of Asosiasi Kurator Pengurus Indonesia (AKPI) (Indonesian Bankruptcy Trustee and Administrator).
Rifki has handled various legal disputes throughout Indonesia as a Litigator in various areas of legal practice, with particular emphasis on general commercial, mining, plantation, administrative law, criminal law, contractual and project infrastructure disputes. In addition, Rifki is also experienced in representing clients in industrial relations issues such as termination of employment, negotiating Perjanjian Kerja Bersama (Collective Labor Agreement), and labor union dispute. He also frequently represents clients in arbitration proceedings at the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI) in many sectors including construction, property and co-operation project.
As a legal practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, Rifki has the ability to negotiate dispute resolutions both in and out of court which can be led to mutual agreements between parties.
In restructuring and bankruptcy, Rifki has been involved in several court-sanctioned debt restructuring process (Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang or PKPU) at the Indonesian Commercial Court which most of them resulted in homologation. He also advises to clients in bankruptcy and liquidation process.
Rifki has an excellent record of representing clients in family law matters such as divorce and matrimonial property disputes, preparing prenuptial agreements, and inheritance disputes. In criminal law, Rifki has served his clients in many criminal cases at district courts including corruption, fraud, forgery, and environmental, and He has also frequently liaisons with clients in the investigation process at various public investigator or prosecutor institution.
In corporate law, Rifki is familiar in handling a wide range of corporate legal matters including acquisition, divestment, joint venture, co-operation projects, and also preparing legal opinion.
